Intempo is launching a speaker designed for iPods called the iDS-02.It’s shaped like a big ball, and comes in either white or black to match your iPod.
Features include two 7.5 watt stereo speakers and a 15 watt subwoofer, a USB mini B and Firewire for connectivity with a PC, and 3.5mm stereo line in for connecting to audio devices other than iPods.
It functions as a dock connector to charge and sinc your iPod (although not the Shuffle), and comes with a remote control.
The Intempo iDS-02 is available for around $129.
