The iBud is a pair of headphones that attempts to solve the problem of inappropriate cord length, an idea that a few companies are starting to get behind. The in-ear headphones are connected to a small reel where unused cord is stored. Need more length? Just give 'em a little tug and away you go. Thanko also promises that the headphones don't completely sound like trash, and given the in-ear design, a reasonable level of external noise isolation can be expected. The iBud should retail for around $85.
